Only 87 lakh applications against 1.09 crore job openings on government portal
The central government's National Career Service (NCS) portal displays a significant increase in job vacancies, indicating economic growth, yet faces a shortage of applicants. Only 87 lakh job applications have come in against 1.09 crore job openings in FY 2023-24.
