Kerala pushes for increased central tax share, disaster relief aid
Kerala has asked the 16th Finance Commission Chairman for a significant revision in central tax allocation, as well as enhanced disaster relief funding. The state has also sought adjustments to revenue distribution criteria to reflect its population control achievements and economic challenges.
