Courts must exercise caution in dowry cases to prevent misuse of law: Supreme Court
The Supreme Court has cautioned against the misuse of dowry harassment laws, emphasising that vague allegations without specific evidence cannot justify criminal prosecution. It quashed a Telangana High Court order refusing to dismiss a dowry harassment case.
