All About South Korean President Yoon’s Legal Perils After His Arrest
The legal perils of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol escalated on Jan. 15 when investigators arrested him for questioning over his short-lived martial law declaration. The country’s parliament had already impeached him on Dec. 14 after lawmakers judged his declaration violated the constitution. Yoon has been stripped of his presidential powers and awaits a verdict on whether he will be removed from office.
