3 officers dead, 5 injured in North Carolina shooting, suspect killed
Three officers on a US Marshals Task Force who tried to serve a warrant to a suspect wanted for possessing a firearm were killed in a shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina. Five others were injured and the officers later killed the suspect.
