Nasa captures giant explosion on the Sun as Earth reels under solar storm
Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory has recorded two strong explosions on the Sun that released strong solar flares, which are powerful bursts of energy which can affect radio communications, electric power grids, and navigation signals.
