Low voter turnout continues in Phase-2, less than half of electorate voted in 6 seats
In the last Lok Sabha election, voter turnout in India averaged around 70 per cent, but this year's Phase 2 of the Lok Sabha elections showed a marked decrease, with only around 60 per cent turnout as per the poll body's data.
