How a boy from Barabanki changed course of Iran's history
The Shah of Iran was overthrown in 1979 and the liberal Islamic country turned into a hardline Shia theocratic state. Ruhollah Khomenei, who led the 1979 Revolution, was the grandson of Syed Ahmad Musavi Hindi, who went to Iran from Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, and changed the course of Iranian history forever.
