11 shot in Back of the Yards; 8-year-old girl killed; 4 children shot, 2 critically: CPD
Eleven people were shot Saturday evening on Chicago's South Side, Chicago police said. A 7-year-old girl was killed in the shooting, and two boys, ages 1 and 8, were among other victims who were critically injured.
